Our Vision

The CT Real Estate Principles and Practice logo. A blue and tan color scheme depicting a house logo.

Our Perspective:

An educational institute that provides the platform to enter the Real Estate Industry smoothly, effectively, and honestly. CT Real Estate Principles & Practice understands that providing top producing and active Realtors as course instructors gives the pre-licensee the absolute best ability to jump start their life-changing decision to get their CT Real Estate license and enter the Real Estate Industry.

Our Mission:

To hold the State's highest test pass-rate of any Real Estate Institution by providing recent and relevant experience through active licensees, utilizing best practices to achieve real results and succeed beyond "expected" industry time frames. To have a direct and positive impact by increasing the number of Real Estate licensees, on the national scale, who make it to two or more years of tenure.

What Is Pre-Licensure?

Pre-licensing class for becoming a Connecticut Real Estate Salesperson:

To become a Real Estate salesperson in Connecticut, you must successfully complete a 60 hour “Principles and Practices of Real Estate” Real Estate license course and after completion you will be able to take the Connecticut Real Estate Salesperson’s license exam.

Our seven week, state required 60-hour “Principles and Practices of Real Estate” Real Estate license course is an online course instructed via a 'live virtual classroom'. The class meets every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:00-9:00PM EST for seven weeks. A brand-new class begins  every eight weeks.

At the end of the 60 hour online Real Estate training course we provide, a final exam link will be sent via email - students must score at least 85% in order to pass the course. Upon receiving a passing grade, you will be emailed a certificate of completion which must then be mailed to PSI Licensing Services in order to apply to take your Real Estate licensing exam to become a licensed agent in CT. Whether your passion is to work with home buyers, home sellers, or to simply learn modern real estate practices, our 60 hour course taught by experienced industry professionals will equip each student with the Real Estate skills and knowledge necessary to pass the licensing exam.

Course for becoming a Connecticut Real Estate Broker (coming soon):

To become a Real Estate Broker, you must work as a licensed salesperson for two years, successfully complete “Basic Appraisal Principles,” successfully complete one other 30-hour Real Estate course, and pass the Connecticut State Real Estate Brokerage exam.
